Egg on My Face
It's not been a week since I was bitching about local media, so it wouldn't be right if I didn't give a shout out to some St. Louis writers who are finalists for the James Beard Foundation's 2006 Journalism Awards.
Kristen Hinman's feature article in the RFT about Missouri caviar is one of three nominees up for an award, as is Judy Evans, Food Editor at the Post-Dispatch.
Congratulations to them both!

It doesn't have the punch that the now illegal iranian caviar has, but it is tasty
