The glasses may be bad - but trust me, having bifocals in high school was even worse.

If it's any consolation, I do believe I may have had my hair like that at least for one semester in high school, and a pair of big over sized tortoise shell glasses (tho non bifocal variety), too.

Email me if you can--I might end up needing bifocals and wonder what your experiences with them has been.
