Library of Congress Opens a Digital Vault

Photographers working for the United States Farm Security Administration (FSA) and later the Office of War Information (OWI) took thousands of photographs between 1939 and 1944. Hundreds of them have been preserved by the Library of Congress and have been posted on Flickr for archival and cataloging purposes.
